INTRODUCING THE council of presidents:
The COUnCIL OF PRESIDENTS convenes THE LEADERS OF
the premier HEALTHCARE and MEDICAL ASSOCIATIONS.
Fri & Sat, dec 12-13, 2025 ▪ WASHINGTON, DC
Prompted by the catastrophic events in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, and other affected areas across the region, the Global Health & Relieve Iniative (GHRI-USA) and the National Arab American Medical Association (NAAMA) will convene for two-days to initiate a forum and coalition to collaborate—and to support institutions and organizations that share a commitment to humanitarian service, education, and rebuilding.
In short the Council of President consists of association leaders and presidents that are eager to collaborate to promote better and improved education, exceptional and accessible healthcare, and durable civic organizations that facilitate well-being and peace.
OUR OBJECTIVES WHEN WE CONVENE IN DECEMBER:
FORMATION OF INITIAL WORKING GROUPS:
Establish a structured mechanism for collaboration and to monitor progress.
Tasks:
Maintain communication and regular updates among participants
Plan follow-up meetings (virtual and in-person)
Develop a 12-month roadmap with measurable milestones
PROPOSED 12-MONTH MILESTONES:
Raise Funds to: (suggestions and examples)
Rebuild 100,000 homes
Reconstruct 3 universities across affected regions
Rebuild or rehabilitate 100 schools
Reconstruct 3 major hospitals or medical centers
Sponsor 20,000 orphans through sustained community support
